The Wedding Archives
Kandice and Aaron at The Bryan Museum
An October wedding late in the Evening at The Bryan Museum. The bride chose her getting ready at the Hotel Galvez on the Seawall overlooking the Gulf. These two locations allowed for beautiful wedding pictures and portraits at two beautiful historical sites.
Galveston Wedding Photography at The Trolly Station
This gorgeous wedding was held at The Trolley Station in Galveston, Texas. The building was constructed in the late 1800’s and it’s open space floor plan with it’s tall ceilings lined with large wooden rafters create a golden warm tone from the natural light that spills in from wall of windows on the west side of the building. The wedding and reception took place on the second floor of this beautiful historic builder. Sunset wedding portraits were taken on the second floor balcony that over looks downtown Galveston and on the streets within a block of The Trolley Station.
Wedding at Moody Mansion in Galveston, Texas
This wedding photography at Galveston’s historic Moody Mansion is special from all other weddings in style and in the way that it was photographed. I chose a traditional film stock over the standard digital format that is popular in today’s industry to give this wedding an aesthetic value in look and style that only a film can provide. The film chosen was Fuji Pro 400h combined with both 35mm and medium format cameras. There is no post processing with film, as what you shoot with your camera, is what you get when it comes back from the photo lab. To me, it’s beautiful and warm, with subtle creamy skin tones, a deep depth of field, with a grain and analog texture that perfectly compliments this 1895 Romanesque mansion.
word of mouth
“We love working with Ryan!! He did an amazing job for our engagement photo shoot. Both me and my fiance are not very good at posing and sometimes quite shy in front of camera. Ryan was very professional and patient. We received over 400 edited photos (!!) in about 2 weeks and they are so great!! We highly recommend him!”
